CloudLinux, new Xeons and duplicate limits

After announce the latest technology in VPS, we tell you that this is not the only service that was renewed in Duplika.

Starting today, all our customers on the Home, Apps and Multi-account plans will have the double space and transfer, in addition to new processors, reduced connectivity latency from Argentina and snapshots of your files and self-managing databases!

These are the improvements that they will have if they have a Home, Apps or Multi-account plan:

  • cloudlinux: this operating system, especially oriented to web servers, uses CageFS, which allows complete isolation of each account within a server. This means that an overloaded site will not affect the rest of the accounts on the server, improving the stability and performance of each account considerably.
  • New Intel Xeon E3 1230 V2: Our new servers use the new processors released by Intel 15 days ago, using the architecture ivy-bridge.
  • Space and duplicate transfer: starting today you will have double the space and monthly transfer.
  • Improved connectivity: we incorporated new connectivity providers, improving the browsing speed of all sites from Argentina in a 20%.

What does this mean for my site?

We will be starting the changes in the next few hours, and we will update the news through our blog. The migration will involve an IP change, but it will be 100% transparent to you and your customers. Web and email access will not be affected.

If you were accessing your emails or your website using the server IP 69.16.236.104, you will have to replace it with 74.50.124.152. If, instead, you accessed with 50.28.80.73, your new IP will be 190.111.250.253.

Any questions or queries do not hesitate to share it with us. We are online 24 hours.
