The Potential of the “Subject” field of your Mails

Once we have established an identity with our customers, we need to start thinking about how to take advantage of email subject lines. It is an excellent opportunity to generate an identity, either keeping a part of the subject constant, or changing it minimally.

To give an example of this use, a subject could be “Email Marketing Tips – Forms in emails?”, always respecting the first part. It's a way to keep your identity consistent, but it also explains the content of the email and hopefully catches the attention of those interested.

It is also important to avoid the use of symbols or content that may appear spam to the naked eye. Numerous times, I receive emails with subject lines like “BEST MP3s AT GREAT PRICES!!”, which usually makes my mozilla thunderbird detect it as spam, and that I delete the mail almost reflexively.
