Authentication error: Plaintext authentication disallowed

The following error appears in your email client when you have not configured your program to connect without encryption:

Plaintext authentication disallowed on non-secure (SSL/TLS) connections

For security reasons, we only allow connections via SSL or TLS, so you must configure your email client accordingly.
