Main WHM Panel Options
Updated last month
The WHM control panel we use for our reseller or cloud plans is ideal because of its simplicity and speed when managing hosting accounts. However, since it is in English, we decided to provide this guide with the information you need to use it without difficulty.
Each hosting account created from the WHM panel will have its own individual control panel (cPanel).
The main WHM panel options are:
Create a New Account: The option for creating new hosting accounts.
Terminate an Account: If you need to delete an account, you can do so from this option.
Add a Package: Used to create the hosting plans you will assign to your accounts. Then, the options...
Edit a Package and Delete a Package are used to edit and delete packages, respectively.
List Accounts: Allows you to view a list of the accounts you have created and access their control panels.
Modify an Account: This option is used to modify the properties of a hosting account, such as the domain it uses.
Suspend/Unsuspend an Account: From here, you can suspend and reactivate accounts within your plan.
You can start by creating an account by clicking the Create a New Account option and creating a package there, or you can manually assign limits to your new account by clicking Select Options Manually.
Complete the fields with the following information:
Domain: Enter the main domain of the hosting account (for example, dominio.com.ar)
Username: This will be filled in automatically by default. It is the account username and is used, for example, to access cPanel or via FTP.
Password: Complete this field with the password you want to assign to the account.
Email: You can enter your email address to receive notifications about the account.
You do not need to select any other option (unless you know exactly what you are doing). In the upper-left corner of the WHM panel, you will find the Find search box, which is useful for typing in and accessing any of the available options more quickly. If you have any questions about managing accounts with the WHM panel, we invite you to contact our operators.
