Train the Spam Filter and Report Spam
Updated last month
You can train and improve your account’s spam filter by reporting emails that were not automatically filtered.
To do this, we first need to access the account’s webmail:
Replace midominio.com with your domain.
Once logged in, select the unfiltered unwanted email:
Then click the SPAM button:
It is important to understand that, by marking the email as SPAM, we will not only stop receiving emails from the sender, but, more importantly, the intelligent SPAM filter learns from this email to identify new similar emails.
For example, future emails coming from the same IP address will no longer reach our inbox. And that’s not all: the intelligent filter helps prevent these emails from reaching others as well, provided that more than one person marks them as SPAM. In conclusion, the message body, its subject, and the server it comes from become suspicious patterns.
Prevent valid emails from being filtered as Junk
Conversely, if we find valid emails in our spam folder, we can report them as not spam to train the filter and prevent these emails from being filtered again.
