How to add an additional domain or subdomain

To add an additional domain or subdomain to a hosting account, you must access cPanel and select the "Domains" option. The domain must be registered and delegated to our DNS servers.

Once inside the domain manager for your hosting account, click the "Create A New Domain" button.

• If you want the new domain to access the same website as the primary domain, leave the "Share document root" option selected (share the same root directory).
  This is useful, for example, when adding another domain extension but wanting the content of the primary domain to be displayed.

• If you want the new domain to be independent of the primary domain in your hosting plan, disable the "Share document root" option and complete the following:

• New Domain Name: Enter your new domain here without www at the beginning (e.g., duplika.com).

• Subdomain: We recommend leaving the default subdomain, but you can choose whichever one you want.

• Document Root: We also recommend letting cPanel complete this field by default so that your files remain outside public_html (the location where the content of your primary domain is stored).

Press the blue «Submit» button, and you will have completed the task.
The domain must use our DNS servers to function correctly.
