When you sign up for any of our hosting plans, we can take care of migrating your site to our servers.
To do so, it is essential to have the hosting plan contracted and send us the access details for your previous provider, along with your preferred day and time range for coordinating the task.
We will take care of migrating all your content, emails, databases, and configurations while avoiding service interruptions.
If you prefer to carry out the migration yourself, we explain the procedure below.
Self-service migration
If your previous hosting provider uses cPanel, the process will be much easier. You will need to generate a full
account backup, or write to us with your access details so that we can help you, speeding up the process toward its third step.
If you do not have cPanel, below we explain how to complete the entire migration.

If your account with your previous provider uses cPanel, ask us to perform the migration by email and send us the access details for your control panel. Otherwise, you will have to manually upload the files to our hosting (do not forget to import the databases if you use them) via FTP or through your browser.
Creating email accounts
If you use email accounts from your "old" hosting account, log in to our control panel and create the corresponding accounts so that, when you change the DNS, all emails that previously went to your previous provider start arriving at our servers (ensuring that no emails are lost).
For migrating your content, you can use ImapSync.
Verifying that the migration was successful
If you want to make sure your website looks correct, you can access it through the temporary access details we sent you in the welcome email and edit your computer's hosts file so that it queries our servers, even though the domain has not yet been delegated. Changing DNS
Once you have created the email accounts and verified that the site has been migrated correctly, the final step is to point the DNS to our servers. If you do not know how to complete this step, you will need to contact the company that registered your domain.
