How to log in to WordPress from Softaculous

The installation and maintenance of our WordPress site may have been handled by a third party, and as a result, we may not have the login details. We may also not remember them, or the traditional way of logging in (wp-admin) may not work. There is no need to panic: there is another way to access the WordPress Dashboard. This is done through cPanel → Softaculous, and in this brief tutorial, we show you how to do it step by step, with screenshots.
Brief introduction
This guide presents an alternative method for logging in to WordPress instead of the usual method, which is, just to mention it, entering the address misitio.com/wp-admin.
If we do not remember the password, we can reset it using the link "Have you forgotten your password?
However, this step requires access to the email account used to create the credentials in the first place. If we CANNOT do this, let us take the alternative route, which is the very purpose of this tutorial.
Access WordPress with cPanel
This is the recommended method when we cannot access wp-admin for any reason, or when we have exhausted all options for recovering our login credentials.
The first step is to access our cPanel.
We will replace misitio.com with the actual address of our website.
Once we have accessed our cPanel, we need to look for the WordPress icon in the "App Installer" section, usually located at the very bottom.
After clicking the WordPress logo, we will see a screen similar to the following:
As shown in the screenshot above, we need to look for the Admin icon and click it. We will then have successfully accessed the WordPress Dashboard.
