How to properly uninstall Acronis backup from cPanel

To uninstall Acronis backup from a server with cPanel, the command on the official Acronis or cPanel page only mentions:

yum remove acronis-backup-cpanel

Under normal conditions, yum remove acronis-backup-cpanel removes the agent and all its services. Only if a specific version or installation leaves residual Acronis services running, and after verifying this, also run:

/usr/lib/Acronis/BackupAndRecovery/uninstall/uninstall-bin --uninstall --no-purge -a
