How to renew a .com.ar domain in NIC Argentina
Updated 5 days ago
All .com.ar domains (and all their variants, such as ar., net.ar, musica.ar, etc.) are managed from the NIC Argentina website. In this guide, we will explain step by step, with screenshots, how to complete this process easily.
First, we need to go to nic.ar and click the button indicated in the screenshot below.
When logging in, we are presented with two options: one for Argentine citizens with a CUIT number, and another for non-residents. We will choose the appropriate option. However, please note that logging in with a CUIT requires having obtained a level 2 (or higher) tax key, while non-residents must have previously created a user account on Nic.Ar.
If we are Argentine citizens with a CUIT and tax key, we will access through this option, as it is the appropriate one.
Once we have located the domain we want to renew, we will click the RENEW button.
Next, we can review our information and then click the button to confirm the process.
We will choose our preferred payment method.
We will enter the relevant information (for example, our credit card details).
And that's it!
Please note that a payment made with a Credit Card or through Pago Mis Cuentas will be credited within 24 hours of completing the transaction. On the other hand, payments made through Rapipago will be credited within 72 business hours.
