As of 15 October 2026, all our servers in the United States and Europe are protected against DDoS attacks by Cloudflare Magic Transit. We have added this layer to our infrastructure to reduce the impact of attacks that attempt to overwhelm the network and take hosted projects offline.
For our customers, this means an additional defence managed by Duplika, acting before attack traffic reaches the servers.
What is a DDoS attack, and how can it affect you?
A distributed denial-of-service attack, or DDoS attack, sends large amounts of traffic from multiple sources to exhaust the capacity of a network or service. Its aim is to prevent real users from connecting.
A well-optimised website can still become inaccessible if its internet connection is overwhelmed. An attack against one service can also affect other projects sharing the same network infrastructure. That is why protection needs to act before traffic reaches the server.
How Cloudflare Magic Transit works
Magic Transit uses Cloudflare’s global network as the entry point for traffic destined for protected infrastructure:
- Traffic enters through Cloudflare. Internet routing directs packets addressed to protected IP ranges to its distributed network first.
- Cloudflare analyses and filters attacks. Its systems detect malicious traffic patterns and mitigate DDoS attacks at the network and transport layers, known as layers 3 and 4.
- Legitimate traffic continues to the servers. After filtering, Cloudflare delivers it to the destination infrastructure through the configured network connection.
Mitigation capacity is distributed: the attack can be absorbed by Cloudflare’s network before it consumes the origin infrastructure’s resources. The Magic Transit technical overview and DDoS protection documentation explain this process.
What it adds to your Duplika service
Greater continuity for your business. Mitigation aims to preserve connectivity during an attack, so visitors can continue reaching your website, store or application.
Protection for the server and its connections. Because it works with IP traffic, this layer also covers services that use other protocols, such as email or administrative access. Its scope extends beyond HTTP visits to a webpage.
Defence before the destination connection. Filtering attack traffic through a distributed network helps prevent its full volume from reaching the location hosting your services. This complements the server’s local controls.
Infrastructure managed by our team. The integration is part of Duplika’s network. You do not need to install a plugin, change your application’s code or enable Cloudflare’s proxy on each domain to receive this network protection.
Which servers are covered?
This announcement covers all Duplika servers located in the United States and Europe, together with the services they host. Coverage depends on your server’s location, not the country you purchased from or where your visitors are based.

How it works alongside DNS Firewall and website security
This addition complements Cloudflare DNS Firewall on our DNS servers. Each service protects a different part:
- DNS Firewall: protects the queries used to find your domain and uses global caching to answer them.
- Magic Transit: mitigates DDoS attacks against the network of protected servers.
- WAF and application security: help control malicious web requests and application vulnerabilities, alongside updates, permissions and other measures.
Magic Transit adds resilience against network attacks. It does not make a website immune to every incident or replace backups and maintenance.
When you choose Duplika, these infrastructure improvements become part of the service managed by our team. We continue strengthening the foundations of your projects so you can focus on serving your customers and growing your business.
