On 31 January 2017, we published our announcement about Imunify360, a platform combining several security layers for Linux hosting servers. It aims to help prevent attacks, detect suspicious activity and respond to infections.

At Duplika, Imunify360 is included in web hosting and reseller plans. For cloud and VPS services, coverage depends on the configuration and purchased licences; we can review this with you before adding it.

How layered protection works

A website can receive malicious requests, repeated login attempts or infected files. Imunify360 combines tools that act at different points:

  • Firewall and intrusion detection: analyse activity and logs to identify suspicious connections, including brute-force attempts.
  • Web application protection: uses security rules to detect requests attempting to exploit vulnerabilities.
  • Malware scanning: inspects files and provides cleanup functions for detected items.
  • Proactive defence for PHP: analyses script execution to block potentially malicious behaviour.

These functions integrate with the server and its administration panel. The official Imunify360 overview describes the platform’s components.

What it adds to Duplika hosting

The advantage is a security foundation managed through the infrastructure, without installing a separate tool for each server layer.

For a hosting account, it helps reduce exposure to automated attacks and supports incident investigation. For a reseller, it provides a common platform to help protect several projects.

The functions available to your account in cPanel let you consult security information. Our team manages server controls and can help interpret a detection or review a block.

How it works with other security measures

Server protection is complemented by Monarx, added later to our Linux hosting servers, and CloudLinux isolation tools.

This is also different from mitigating large network attacks. Cloudflare Magic Transit protects connectivity for our servers in the United States and Europe before attack traffic reaches the infrastructure.

Each layer addresses different risks. Keeping WordPress, plugins and themes updated, using strong passwords and maintaining backups remain part of looking after a website.

What to do when you see an alert

If you find unusual files, unexpected redirects or blocked access, write to us through the client area with the domain and details of the problem.

We can investigate the incident and help identify its cause. Cleaning an infected file is one step; fixing the vulnerability or access route that allowed the infection helps prevent it from recurring.
